Great... the more you make, the better you get. If you undercut the clay at the foot using a wooden knife, you will save yourself a bit of trimming. The thickness of the rim (and wall) should be proportional to the size of the post.... Try using a rib to shape the outside contour of the piece before removing from the wheel....
